Every year, the Scarborough Chapter of the Congress of Black Women of Canada invests in the next generation of leaders in our community — because when one of us rises, we all rise.

Our 2026 Awards & Bursaries are now open. Multiple awards up to $2,000 are available for graduating Grade 12 students of the Black Diaspora living in Scarborough, with demonstrated financial need. One application opens the door to multiple funding opportunities.

These awards honour the dedication, perseverance, and quiet leadership of Black students making meaningful impact in their schools, homes, and communities.
