Our 2026 Awards & Bursaries application is now open. Multiple awards up to $2,000 are available for graduating Grade 12 students of the Black Diaspora living in Scarborough.
Before you apply, make sure you:
• Live in Scarborough and are currently enrolled in secondary school
• Are between 17 and 20 years old
• Self-identify as Black (African, Caribbean, Afro-Indigenous, Afro-Latin, or other African diaspora descent)
• Have applied (or plan to apply) to a Canadian college or university for Fall 2026
• Can demonstrate financial need
What you’ll need to submit:
• Completed online application
• Two reference letters (one from a teacher, one from a community leader — emailed directly by your references)
• Recent status sheet or credit counselling summary from your school
